Our 30 Year Anniversary
At Schnarr Craftsmen, we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have worked with hundreds of wonderful clients over the years in Waterloo Region, and would like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you for trusting in us and allowing us to serve you. When Greg Schnarr was young and driving around with his father, he would proudly point out how he had worked on that property or built that school. As Greg drives around town now, he sees the mark that Schnarr Craftsmen has made in the community and feels that same pride.
We are a very different company today, from our humble beginnings working out of a garage. Always working within our guiding mission of transforming people’s homes and lifestyles to their maximum potential, the types of projects that we have done know no bounds. From bathrooms to kitchens, additions, and complete exterior and interior renovations, we take the same pride in everything we do. Schnarr Craftsmen has gone though many exciting changes, but we have never lost our focus of creating happy and satisfied clients. There are not too many businesses where you start your workday in someone else’s home, greeting them in their housecoats and being welcomed at the door by their kids and pets. Building trusting and respectful relationships is such a big part of what we do, as we circumnavigate around the homeowners’ daily living requirements amid the excitement of the changes happening to their homes.
For the past 8 years, Greg has enjoyed his involvement at Conestoga College as Chair of the Program Advisory Committee for the Renovation Technician Program. He is also involved with the Waterloo Region Homebuilders Association and is currently partnering with the students at the College to do a charitable project for Ray of Hope in Kitchener. Greg started his working days as a licensed carpenter and appreciates the fact that he can be involved with the next generation of tradesmen while giving back to the community at the same time.
Schnarr Craftsmen would not be where it stands today, without the excellent employees, subtrades and suppliers that we have had the pleasure of working closely with throughout the decades. They are an integral part of our success. These talented people have led us through a string of awards and a fantastic portfolio of projects that continuously raise the bar.
Renovating is an innovative and dynamic process, and we look forward to projects that continue to excite and challenge our creative design and production skills. We are grateful for the experience, growth and confidence we have garnered from the last three decades, providing a solid foundation as we continue to improve Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas, one home at a time.
